winnieyap I watched Karl Lagerfield’s latest short film: ‘Remember Me’, last night. Its uhmm, well lets say..interesting. Maybe I’m just a lostie when it comes to short films I’m not sure, but on other news I never knew that Abbey Lee spoke French, and Baptiste Giabiconi’s in it so that pretty much made my day, yepp new obsession. Anyway I cbf blogging too much today sorry, feet are cold and I’m too lazy to get up and turn the heater on, so it’s a lose lose situation.

We’re studying corsetts and bodices in our fashion class at the moment. As if this one (modeled by Constance Jablongski) isnt the craziest of all. It reminds me of Madonna’s cone bra circa 1990s by none other than Jean Paul Gaultier. A combination of sexism and feminism at it’s finest?

Japanese flowers bag hand-made

So we designed and made our own clutch bags in my fashion class for school.

Heres a few snaps from the last minute shoot I attempted to organise for my folio. Yes, It was that last minute that I had to model it myself, which was a little sad considering.. who the hell models their own garments and products for their own folio?!!!

Anyway here it is:

The bag’s main body was constructed by using pin tucks, embellished with Japanese silk hand-made flowers and the strap was a combination of a Diva necklace with a few fold chains I had lying around at home.

Long time no speak?!

Sorry babes, I just realised how long I havn’t blogged for, for a moment there I think I almost forgot I even had a blog. 2010 meant the start of a long year of year twelve, 50billion sacs (school assesment tasks), and pretty much everything counts for somethign so I’ve been embracing my inner Asian and knuckling down with face planted in books. Currently as we speak, I’m tossing up the decision of whether to finish this post or complete my history notes :| ahhh.

Anyway, I figured that a new season means new excuse to go shopping, so here’s my new list:

- Thigh high boots (ie: Rodarte style or what not) - Tricky decision though since it feels so conformist to get these boots now that every stores already got their hands on cheaped up styles :(

- Oh and I’m on the search for a perfect pair of winter pants I just have no idea what im looking for yet. I’m not a jeans girl, and the harem styles well.. so last, well… last year

Anyway enough talking, I’ll leave you with a few photos and what what not. Don’t know when I’ll speak to you next, but for now, ex oh exxxx

Oh and p.s: major hunk obsession: Baptiste Giabiconi?!!!!! Dont worry I’m not that late on the bandwagon, I just havn’t written on here in so long!

Camberwell Market

I just bought the cutest jacket today. It’s black and has like superduper raunched shoulders with shoulderpads (which yes, I did hack off, because despite the trend, the massive power-shoulders look is really not complementing my body shape).

Oh oh and I also finally bought a pair of Doc Martens. Yes, I am aware I am totally late on jumping on this bandwagon, but being my girly-girl self, I’ve always been unsure of how I would wear them, and therefore never made myself purchase a pair. So now that I have my very own pair (black, which just cover the ankles)… HOW DO I WEAR THEM?! My calves seem to buldge when shoes cut off the ankles, and oh oh oh, I really am too girly for it to blend in well with the rest of my wardrobe,

And and and, I really should be writing my literature essay at the moment (which, reminderrr***is due in tomorow morning!!!), but but thought i would share my day’s purchases.

p.s - happy valentines day, and uhm uhm chinese new year :D
